Secure Shell |
Starting with version 15
of Anzio Lite, both Anzio Lite and AnzioWin support secure connections
over the SSH (Secure Shell) protocol. Anzio Lite provides an inexpensive solution for those needing secure communications over a network connection, while AnzioWin meets the more advanced user's needs. |
Expanded FTP Support |
Beginning in AnzioWin
version 15, the FTP support is greatly expanded, including making the
host end appear and work similar to a Windows Explorer shell process,
allowing the user to open, view, print and download files with a familiar
Windows interface. |
Secure Shell FTP Support |
AnzioWin version 15, also
now supports SFTP, encrypted file transfers over
the Secure Shell (SSH) protocol. |
Passthrough Print Support |
Anzio can handle a wide variety of requirements for
passthrough printing (a.k.a. slave printing), where a program running on the host system
needs to print on your PC's printer. High-level print lets you select a font and character
size. Spooler-level printing bypasses the Windows printer driver for situations where the host
program needs to issue control sequences. And in AnzioWin we have Print Wizard, which will
automatically fit your reports to the page, generate PDFs and faxes, apply overlays, translate PCL, faxing print job, email of PDF, and more. |

Handling

Anzio uses a "clean screen" approach, allowing
you to focus on the host system. Line drawing works flawlessly. Change the font size and the window size follows. Change the window size, or maximize it, and the font size follows. And 132-column mode works well also. |

Anzio also supports Linux console, ANSI, vt220, vt320, vt420, Wyse
50/60, Viewpoint, C332, Televideo 965, AT386 and SCO ANSI console emulations and more. |

Support

Anzio handles Unicode UTF-8, National Replacement Characters, as well as
Cyrillic and other character sets. Anzio handles mixed fonts and
international support, at the same time on screen, as well as during
printing. The latest versions include support for Hebrew, Arabic,
Thai, Japanese, Chinese, etc., including combining diacritics and
double-wide characters. |
PC Scripting |
AnzioWin supports Microsoft's Script
Control and Script Engine, which allows you to write PC macros to
parse screen data and control many aspects of AnzioWin's functions. |
Host Scripting |
From host programs, such as Perl, C or
shell scripts, you can control all of Anzio's functionality, including
starting file transfers, changing language character sets, running
other PC programs and scripts, etc. |
